A Sermon for Bible Believers
- ¶ When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
- And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
- And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
- Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
- For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
- Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
- Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
- When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
- Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
- And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
- Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
- For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
- I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
- Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
- Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
- And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
The Error of Not Studying
- Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Regarding these verses from Matthew 25, so-called Bible believers from a KJV FaceBook group (better known as “Ruckmanites” who lazily ride on the shirttails of Dr. Peter Ruckman instead of studying the word of God as Ruckman has done), assert that these verses have to do with nations (meaning “countries”) and “not people.” Apparently, according to them, whole classes of people, including true Bible believers, are going into everlasting punishment if they happen to be in the wrong “country.” If this was true, there would no need to support missions to foreign countries if that “nation” was going to Hell anyways.
“Nations” Means People, Not Countries
Not Countries
Webster easily debunks this error—again—with simple English. In every definition, a “nation” consists of people collectively, not a country.
Webster in Agreement With the KJB
With the KJB
Looking to the word of God in the KJB, the same usage applies. A “nation” is not a country or a land, but a host or multitude of people. “Two nations” equal “two manner of people;” “countries” does not equal “nations.” Instead of arrogantly changing God’s word to fit in with our limited and carnal understanding, we only need to study the word of God as God has commanded us and believe what He has inspired.
- And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
- And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
In the last sermon, the rules of English debunked the doctrine taught by unbelievers that Isaiah 11:2 identifies the “seven Spirits which are before his throne.” God’s word also established that the Holy Ghost, the Spirit, is one of the seven Spirits of God.
The Office of Christ
Today, God is establishing that the Spirit of Christ is the second Spirit of seven. Keep in mind that Christ is not a name but a title that goes with an Office, like the Office of President. The officeholder assumes the title.
- But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
- Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
Jesus is Lord, Christ, King, The Lamb
The Lamb
Jesus holds several offices. God the Father had made Jesus Lord and Christ.
- Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
- ¶ And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
- And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.
Jesus is not only Lord but He is also The King and The Lamb of God. See also Matthew 25:34, 37, 40, 44 at the beginning of this sermon. See also Isaiah 9:6-7; 33:22.
- These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Note that there is also a “Spirit of his Son” and a “Spirit of Jesus Christ.”
- And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
- For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
Because Jesus had successfully obeyed the divine will of His Father to its completion, He acquired several offices. Therefore, Jesus now embodies the “Spirit of Christ,” the “Spirit of his Son,” and the “Spirit of Jesus Christ.”
- But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
- God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
- But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
- Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
- Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
The Son and the Father Are One, Yet Not the Same
Yet Not the Same
As a husband and wife are one, yet not the same, the Son and the Father are also one, yet not the same. I will cover this better later.
- For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
- ¶ Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
- That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
- And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
- I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
- Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
- For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
- The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
- For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
- And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
A Woman’s Seed Is Sinless
The father, not the mother, carries the sin nature that is in every man and woman. The mother is unable to pass her sin nature on to her children. The sin came from Adam, a man.
- For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
- For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
For this reason, the woman’s seed is sinless.
- And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
- ¶ And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
- And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Just as the Lord had prophesied in the beginning, the sinless seed of the woman, not the man’s corrupted seed, gave birth to the sinless flesh in which Jesus suffered and died as a sacrificial Lamb.
- ¶ Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
- Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
- But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
- And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
The Prophecy of the Passover
The Passover foreshadows the sacrificial Lamb of God for the sins of the world. The blood of the Lamb will protect God’s people when God executes His Judgment upon Egypt, a type of the world in the Scriptures.
- ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
- Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
- And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.
- And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
- And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
- For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.
- And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
The firstborn birth of the sinless Jesus fulfilled verse 5. The death of Jesus in the evening of the fourteenth day leading to the Passover fulfilled verse 6.
- And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!
- When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
- ¶ The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
The Lamb of God’s crucifixion fulfilled verse 7 with the blood struck on the two side posts and on the upper doorpost of the houses in the sign of the cross. The Last Supper fulfilled verse 8.
- And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.
- And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.
- And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
The Day of the Lord will fulfill verse 12 when the Lord comes to smite the world with judgment.
- But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
- ¶ Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
- Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
- Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
When God sees the blood of His Son covering us, it protects us from God’s wrath, fulfilling verse 13.
- Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Bible Numerics Reveal God’s Lamb
Reveal God’s Lamb
The number 14 is the number of a perfect lamb or perfect sacrifice. Notice here that are seven 14s. Seven is the number of completeness. Therefore, a week of 7 days sacrificing 14 perfect lambs each day is a complete and perfect sacrifice.
- And ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; thirteen young bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year; they shall be without blemish:
- And on the second day ye shall offer twelve young bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without spot:
- And on the third day eleven bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish;
- And on the fourth day ten bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish:
- And on the fifth day nine bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without spot:
- And on the sixth day eight bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish:
- And on the seventh day seven bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish:
Regarding the Passover, God’s people are atoned by the blood of the sacrificial lamb taken in the evening of the 14th day. However, after the sacrifice of God’s perfect and sinless Lamb, God’s people are not only atoned but also actually purchased by the Blood of the Lamb, which redeems them from the penalty of sin.
- Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
- What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
- For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Jesus’ birth has the number 14 associated with Him as God’s perfect Lamb 3 times. Three is the number of the Trinity or the Godhead. (See Matthew 28:19.) Those who were knowledgeable of numerology knew that Jesus was the perfect Lamb of God without spot or blemish.
- So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
No One is Getting Out Alive
It’s a fact that everyone is destined to die a physical death, barring a miracle of God. For thousands of years since the beginning of man in the Garden of Eden, every man (and woman) has died with rare exception. An old folk song says, “None of us are getting out of here alive.” [2] Even Mohamed, Buddha and Confucius are in the grave, along with every other religious founder and leader. Only Jesus, the Son of the one true God, is not in the grave but is risen from the dead.
- Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
- And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Don’t believe those Catholic crucifixes that show Jesus is still on the cross as any other man. Furthermore, the cross is a curse, not a sacred or holy relic. The cross cannot save you. Why would anyone want to put his or her trust in a curse?
- Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Spiritual Death
Worse than a physical death, is the spiritual death of a soul.
- ¶ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
- And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
- And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
- And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
- And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
- ¶ He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
- And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
- These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
The Mother of God
Even Mary, the revered “Mother of God” according to the satanic RCC, recognized her need for a Saviour as a sinner. She is “blessed,” not because she is “holy” according to the satanic RCC, but because God used her as a fit vessel (“handmaiden”) for His purpose. What a privilege and an honor for God to choose us as a vessel!
- And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
- For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
- For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.
The revered “Mother of God,” sometimes known as the “Queen of Heaven,” is a fiction that dates back several thousand years as an object of worship. When the heathen worship idols, the Lord ignores them. They are doomed already.
- The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
- Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?
- Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.
The real Mary is the “mother of Jesus,” not of God, and her body is in the grave like everyone else, awaiting the resurrection.
- These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
God Has Given Us Only One Acceptable Way to Salvation
Only One Acceptable Way
to Salvation
Many people have put their trust in supposed sacraments, baptism, penances, the Rosary, confessionals, suffering, indulgences, etc.—all forms of some sort of sacrifice or works of flesh. Anyone doing this will still be lost because no sin can enter Heaven.
- And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
- For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
- Not of works, lest any man should boast.
- Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
- If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;
- Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
- This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
- Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
The only way to avoid a physical death is to have no sin in your flesh, something that you inherited from your father at conception. No sinner yet from Adam to the present day has found a way to purge sin from his body.
- Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
- For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
As mentioned in Part 1, God’s spirit transformed us from piles of dirt to living creatures. We owe our lives to the Creator and He is entitled to recall His spirit anytime it pleases Him to do so. God has also provided us an easy and free way to escape the wrath of a holy God upon sin with the sacrifice of His Son paying our penalty for our sin. It is so easy to accept it and live. Nothing else really matters as much!
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
- He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
The Lord loves His creation so much that He has freely provided redemption. He is long-suffering to wait for every soul to have the opportunity to receive eternal life. When the last soul has heard the Gospel, then He will come to execute judgment on a sin-filled world.
- ¶ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
No one knows when that will happen. It could be anytime—today, tonight, or ten years from now. Most Bible believers think that it will be soon. All the signs are in place now.
- ¶ But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
- For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
- For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
- But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
- Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
- ¶ Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
- For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
- But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
- For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
- Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

and Its Analysis
(part 2)
There was a great amount of distrust toward foreigners in England. King James, who was Scottish, had his reputation smeared and blackened by various enemies, especially religious extremists and Romanists—even to this present day by so-called Christians. Regardless of this, in the eyes of the Church of England as shown in the Epistle Dedicatory, King James was a savior, figuratively represented as the deliverer of Sion, and made like Christ the great King.
- For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
- And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
- For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
- As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.
Figuratively Queen Elizabeth the First was the Star of the West, the Evening Star—Venus—primarily for her popularity and goddess-like attributes. She was also Lady of the Sea, with her naval victory over the Spanish Armada in 1588. Queen Elizabeth died in 1603, but the love toward her was still strong in 1610 when Bilson wrote this Epistle.
The religious persuasion of the monarch had great affect and influence on the populace. When Henry the Eighth sundered from the Papacy, England followed, and more so with Edward the Sixth. There was a darkening in England during the fires of the Romanist Queen Mary. Protestantism was ascendant again under Queen Elizabeth and King James. The trend toward Protestantism could not allow a Romanist monarch, whether it was Charles the First or James the Second.
- ¶ Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
- For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
The darkness covering Romanist England seemed threatening. The appearance of King James as the sun was not merely a slow dawning, but as the midday sun coming from behind great storm clouds that dissolved into nothing. A prophecy of Christ provided the entire image:
- The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.
The government of a true king is of righteous judgment, establishing truth in the land.
- The king’s strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
- Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.
- ¶ The king by judgment establisheth the land: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it.
- ¶ The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.
The heirs of King James were Prince Henry, who died in 1612, and King Charles, whose reign began in 1625 and ended with execution in 1649 because of his Romanism. King James himself was the son of Mary, Queen of Scots, whose grandmother was the sister of King Henry the Eighth. James was already King James the Sixth of Scotland before he took the throne of England, doing so because Queen Elizabeth left no heir. King James, ruling in a time when England was at relative peace, even proposed peace with Spain, to counter animosities from Elizabeth’s victorious naval war with them.
God lifted up England to bring the Gospel to the world, and it was through England that the word of God might have both grounds and continuance in the last days. Even though England and much of the Church have been compromised, corrupted and fallen, God’s faithful remnant, a continuing and blessed witness with the word of God, were brought forth by His hand to be preachers to the world in the last days.
But among all our joys, there was no one that more filled our hearts, than the blessed continuance of the preaching of God’s sacred Word among us; which is that inestimable treasure, which excelleth all the riches of the earth; because the fruit thereof extendeth itself, not only to the time spent in this transitory world, but directeth and disposeth men unto that eternal happiness which is above in heaven.
- ¶ I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
- For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
- For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
- Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
The preaching of the word, especially by the allowance of the government, would have tremendous results, for by it men would prosper.
- ¶ Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
- But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
- And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
- ¶ The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
- Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
- For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
In addition, the Kingdom of God would increase with souls “Being born again.”
- Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
- Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
- ¶ For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
- But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
For these reasons, Bible-believing Christians esteemed God’s word.
- ¶ MEM. O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
- ¶ Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
- I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
- I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
- ¶ I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
- ¶ I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.
- ¶ How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
- Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
- ¶ Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.
- Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
- ¶ Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
- But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
- My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.
- Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
The word would inevitably bring forth fruit of its own power in any place, including England.
- For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
- Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:
Such fruits would be eternal, even though the world would fail.
- While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
- ¶ Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
- And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
- And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
- And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
- And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.
- And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.
- Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
- So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
These were the true glad tidings.
- ¶ And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,
- And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,
- And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.
The greatest blessing for a Bible believing nation was not merely military or financial might, but that the word of God was by them both esteemed highly and propagated.
No word of God would fail or fall to the ground, as shown in Samuel’s words.
- ¶ And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.
- And all Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD.
In like manner, King James ensured that the version would continue that very thing: the King James Bible would perpetuate the infallible word of God, as it does to this present day. Even as the reign of Elizabeth preserved and purified the word of God, the time of James finished the final labors. The Bishops’ Bible was the standard Bible of Elizabethan times, though its rival, the Geneva, was more popular. These led to the final version, the King James Bible.
History would remember King James for his writings and arguments, most especially against false and excesses of religion. Most especially, because of the Bible version, which bears his name, preachers would thereafter identify King James with the Gospel in the English tongue. King James was in later history slandered, where his enemies accused him of being an effeminate and shambling imbecile who dribbled while fawning over his favorites. Those suspicious of Scottish intentions originally made such charges, but his enemies continue to present them as modern works. However, these gross distortions of physical and mental deformities in King James are untrue. [3]
As to the Christianity and virtue of King James, God sanctified and separated him for service, yet he was still a man. King James, who as a king, was ordained of God for ruling the nation, and perpetuating special works, for the good of the people.
- ¶ In the multitude of people is the king’s honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince.
- ¶ A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment.
- I counsel thee to keep the king’s commandment, and that in regard of the oath of God.
- Be not hasty to go out of his sight: stand not in an evil thing; for he doeth whatsoever pleaseth him.
- Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?
- ¶ The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
Christendom was the places where Christianity had political recognition. The term was used by the Romanists to describe the state of Europe in the Middle Ages, an ecclesiastical Roman Empire, as well as toward the Orthodox as Eastern Christendom. The word refers to where Christianity had dominion, and in the Millennium, Christ’s dominion would be absolute and universal. Thus, King James’ name would go out and be found throughout Christendom. This could only be possible with the globalization of the English language.
King James defended the Gospel when he wrote a pamphlet against the Papacy. He identified the Papacy as the Antichrist and a great false prophet in the earth.
- ¶ Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
- Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
- ¶ And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
- And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
- And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
- And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
- And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
- And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
- And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
- Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
It was believed that the King James Bible and the Reformation caused the “deadly wound” which ended the power of the Papacy in 1798. However, the “deadly wound” has healed, but ultimately the future of Rome and the Antichrist are doomed.
About Me and the Ministry
This month I thought to write about my testimony regarding my personal salvation, as some of you had indicated that you would like to hear it.
I grew up in a small town called Daudu, Benue State, Nigeria. I am the youngest in a family where my father had two wives. My older brothers commonly practiced idol worship and none of us ever went to church during my early childhood. I was very close to my dad and I seemed destined to be like him. When I turned five years old, the same year my father died, I started going to a church called the Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ (ERCC) where the focus is on the Prosperity Gospel and salvation by works.
- ¶ I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
- Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
- But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
- As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
For ten years as a church member, I had never heard of the saving grace of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ—and both the church and I were lost and on our way to hell.
- Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
When I turned fifteen, I traveled to Abuja, Lagos State, Nigeria, to see my uncle whom I hadn’t seen for years. Upon my arrival there, a friend of his preached Jesus to me and I accepted Christ as my personal savior. I then joined Truth Baptist Church [4] where Pastor Mark Holmes [5] baptized me, and I started going soul winning. I had a hunger for the things of God and Pastor Mark gave me a KJB and taught me the fundamentals of God’s word.
After two years of being a true Bible-believing Christian, God has burdened my heart about missions. On Thursday evening, my pastor preached about a cause to serve God and I eagerly took the challenge as David did. Is there not a cause? Yes, there is!
I have a lot to be thankful for, as there are many opportunities here to serve the Lord. Lately I have been serving in my home church teaching the Boys’ Sunday School class and assisting in the Children’s Church. During the week, I have the opportunity to spend time in the Bible college classes taught by Pastor Mark, and it has been a real blessing to me where I can learn more of God’s word.
My home church has an outreach ministry where we have more opportunities to reach the lost with the precious Gospel of salvation so rich and free! We conducted an evangelistic meeting in a nearby village called Ado Kasa where I was privileged to preach to about 200 souls and many got saved.
Soul winning this month was great where a whole family received Christ as their personal Saviour. Pray also for Iember, Solomon, and Andrew that they will come to church and get baptized, now that they’re saved. There are also so many good testimonies from parents and teenagers about the Bible lessons they’re learning!
My home church also has a prison ministry that I’m a part of where we encourage the inmates with God’s word and give them the Gospel of Christ as well.
The Lord has also blessed me with so many opportunities of giving special songs in the church with my guitar. Pray with me, that God would further bless me with my own guitar, as I’m borrowing the one I’m using from a friend.
- The LORD was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD.
Isaiah 38:20 inspires me so much on singing with the stringed instrument. I want to sing my songs to the Lord on a stringed instrument all my days!
Thank you, most of all, for your prayerful and financial support for our material needs, as the economy here is so meager for the poor that survival is barely possible!
- If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
- And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
- Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
I invite all of you to be a part of this great ministry of bringing the Gospel to Africa’s lost. Like me a few years ago, the vast majority of these people have never heard the Gospel. Without someone personally meeting them one-on-one, they will remain lost.
- How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
Please support this Ministry of the Lord. It’s been my prayer that God’s people, who are able, would be willing to support this most worthy mission—the salvation of souls of Africa’s poorest people. Whether by donating directly or patronizing the ads on this site, you will be supporting this ministry. May God bless all of you!
I thank God for this great opportunity to serve in my home church. Here I’m preaching to the children during morning service.
I have Bible lessons with these teenagers every Saturday after our Child Wild Evangelism. The parents are happy for their children’s teachings.
Preaching an evangelistic meeting in a village called Ado Kasa after showing Jesus film. Jesus saved many souls that night. All glory to God!
The children are learning the importance of God’s word! Psalm 119:11 says "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee."
Here is Sam and Shabada, my Bible club kids that Jesus saved. The Bible club is an hour program once a week that is a lot like Awana.
About 200 folks are present at the evangelistic meeting in Ado Kasa. Thank God for the souls of those that Jesus saved! I believe they went home rejoicing!
Isaiah 38:20 inspires me so much on singing with the stringed instrument. I want to sing my songs to the Lord on a stringed instrument all my days.

…King James was a homosexual and a pervert who had sex with animals.
