Open Letter to a Fouled-Up Liar
January 2008 Bible Believers’ Bulletin
Dear Biblical Illiterate,
You requested your readers to correct your errors in Ten Commandments, Twice Removed (pg. 125). I am complying with your request.
At the start, let me say that a man who talks as much as you do (see pg. 89) about fellowship with God and spirituality and “sanctification” (pp. 111–124) could certainly not have written the material you wrote. The writer steals material that doesn’t belong to him and then lies about it (see pg. 88).
- I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;
- And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.
Then he makes a liar out of God by omitting (purposefully) the epistles written by the Apostle to the Gentiles.
- That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
- ¶ I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.
- For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,
- Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
- Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation:
Paul intentionally does not include “Sabbath Keeping” as one of the Ten Commandments.
- ¶ Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
- Owe no man any thing, but to love one another; for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
- For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
If that weren’t heretical enough, you omitted Paul’s instructions given to the Body of Christ—not Israel—in Colossians 2:14–16.
- ¶ And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
- Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
- And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
- ¶ Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Adam, Noah, Enoch, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob no more observed ANY “Sabbath” than Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse (see your extravagant nonsense on this on pg. 93).
With all of your emphasis on the Sabbath, you forgot to tell all your readers that the greatest champions for the “Sabbath” were the Pharisees who MURDERED Jesus Christ.
- ¶ Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
- Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
- Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
The “Sabbath” was a CEREMONIAL LAW given to Israel as a SIGN.
- Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.
- And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.
- ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
- Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
- Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
- Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
- Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
- It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
God never even remotely connected any Christian who ever lived and saved by grace with the Sabbath. The Sabbath as a “sign” belongs to “the Jews.”
- And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.
- And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.
- For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
Somewhere down the line, child, you have completely “lost your marbles” and failed to rightly divide “the word of truth.”
- Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
When you stole Israel’s SIGN from them, …
- ¶ At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.
- But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
- But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;
- How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
- Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
- But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
- But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
- For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
- And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.
- And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?
- And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
- How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
- And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
- Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
…you had to do what every apostate Fundamentalist in America has been doing with the King James Bible since 1901: you “fled for refuge” to the “ORIGINAL GREEK.” (I’m sending you a book on How to Teach the “Original” Greek since you never taught it a day in your life.)
The material you gave to prove your point came from ROMAN CATHOLIC APOSTATES (pp. 97–109). In citing a couple of Protestants who bought the garbage, you, and all of the sources you quoted, failed to note that:
- the New Testament assemblies met on “the first day of the week,”
- the collection taken on “the first day of the week” because Christ arose on “the first day of the week,” and
- the Holy Ghost came down on “the first day of the week”—NOT THE “SABBATH.” (The Lord established the day of Pentecost after the Sabbath.)
- ¶ And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
- ¶ Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
- Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
- ¶ In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
- ¶ And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
- And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
- And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
- And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
- ¶ And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
- Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.
Are you deaf, dumb, and blind; or just BLIND?!
You and all your deluded Seventh-day Adventist buddies missed the “thrust” of the ENTIRE NEW TESTAMENT, as given in Acts 20, Acts 15; Romans 13; Galatians 3; 2 Corinthians 3; Colossians 2; and John 13–16.
At the official meeting of the saints in Jerusalem, where all the leaders of the New Testament church, along with the Holy Ghost, instructed the Gentiles that there’s no commandment for keeping the law for salvation and what was necessary for a Christian to avoid. They were careful not to mention the Sabbath or even the Ten Commandments. READ IT.
- ¶ Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:
- And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia:
- Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
- It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
- Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.
- For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
- That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
Are you deaf, dumb, and blind; or just DUMB?!
The reference you gave in Isaiah 56:3–4 is for Gentiles in the Millennium; there is not one New Testament Christian in the lot. (New Testament Christians are already saved.)
- ¶ Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
- Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
- ¶ Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
- For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
The silly nonsense you extracted from Acts 13:14, 42, 44, 16:13, and 18:4, has no more to do with the Body of Christ observing a Jewish Sabbath in a Jewish synagogue (Is that where you go to church on the Sabbath?) than it has to do with Madonna marrying O. J. Simpson.
- ¶ But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.
- ¶ And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.
- Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.
- And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
- And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.
- ¶ After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;
- And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.
- And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.
- And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
- And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.
- And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.
Any fool could see in one reading that Paul was going to the synagogue to reach his unsaved buddies.
- ¶ I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
- That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.
- For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:
- Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;
- Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
He never let any sinner “judge” him in respect to the “Sabbath.”
- ¶ Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
He told you not to let any carnal Christian bother you with some special day.
- One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
- He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
You don’t read your Bible, kid. You’ve been reading Seventh-day Adventist literature.
Are you deaf, dumb, and blind; or just DEAF?!!
Now quit “yer lyin’” (pg. 94). NO MAN was ever killed for “violating the Sabbath.”
- Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.
- Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.
- And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none.
- And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?
- See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
- So the people rested on the seventh day.
And you confessed that the Law had nothing to do with Jesus Christ, the Apostle Paul, or any saved Gentile in the book of Acts. You said, “God required . . . THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL” (pg. 94). Quit stealing while you are lying!
You silly ass! Jesus Christ’s “followers” in Matthew 24:20 (pg. 94) are in JUDEA dealing with the Antichrist “in the holy place” in JERUSALEM. Read the passage. There cannot be in Matthew 24 one single reference to a born-again child of God who is preaching a Jewish KINGDOM.
- And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
- When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
- Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
- Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
- Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
- And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
- But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
- For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
What did Acts 5:31–32 have to do with any Gentile Christian? Peter was preaching in a Jewish Temple to the nation of “Israel” and to a Christ-rejecting Pharisee WHO KEPT THE SABBATH.
- But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,
- Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.
- And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.
- But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told,
- Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.
- Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.
- Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.
- ¶ Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.
- And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,
- Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.
- Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
- The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
- Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
- And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
- When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.
- Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;
There is nothing in either verse about keeping the Sabbath to get the Holy Spirit. If you are going to talk about getting the Holy Spirit in obedience to God now, then the place to go is not Acts 5. It is Romans 1:5, 16:26, written by the Apostle to the Gentiles and addressed in both verses to “all nations.” Obeying God in those passages is believing the “gospel.” It has nothing to do with the Sabbath whatsoever.
- Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
- And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
- By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
- So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
- ¶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
- ¶ Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
- But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
Ever read the Bible, child? When? When you were in the “Primaries”?
Why did you quote John 14:15 as God’s Ten Commandments (pg. 95) when the reference was to John 13:34 and 1 John 3:22–23?
- ¶ If ye love me, keep my commandments.
- A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
- By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
- And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
- ¶ And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
- And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
Now, after you and your family get fully “sanctified” (pp. 111–124) by “celebrating” the Old Testament Jewish sign given to Israel (Ezek. 20:20), hadn’t you better ask God to forgive you for LYING about His sign on page 88? You said it was a sign given to YOU! You? Why, the Holy Spirit just said it was NOT a sign given to you. Quit calling God Almighty a liar!
- ¶ Wherefore I caused them to go forth out of the land of Egypt, and brought them into the wilderness.
- And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them.
- Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.
- But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols:
- I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;
- And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.
After writing thirteen pages on “celebrating” a sign (that God didn’t give you), I found you had not told anyone where you went to church on “the Sabbath”; you didn’t mention any New Testament church that had deacons.
- ¶ Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
- Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
- And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
- Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
- Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
- For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.
You didn’t do any soul-winning or witnessing on your “Sabbath.” Moreover, you continually broke the Jewish Sabbath every week, for your clock is about nine hours off from the nation to which God gave the Sabbath when they entered the land of Canaan. Edom, Egypt, Sinai, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Lebanon, Gaza, and Syria are all in the same “time zone.” You are violating the Jewish Sabbath EVERY WEEK by working nine hours AFTER you should have rested, and then you “celebrated” (pp. 111–124) nine hours after God told you to go back to work.
And you want some stupid Christian to believe that you “obeyed the commandments of God”? Guess again.
You lied again at the top of page 106, didn’t you? God never created the Sabbath as a “celebration” of anything. He created the Sabbath as “a sign” between Israel and Himself so that the Jews under the Law would know that He was their God (Ezek. 20:12, 20—Look it up and read it and stop your lying). That is why He never told anybody from Adam to Amram (Moses’ father) about the Sabbath.
- Thou art the LORD the God, who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham;
- Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:
- And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant:
And you lied again on page 94 (point no. 11). The “covenant” of Jeremiah 31:31–33 and Hebrews 8:8–10 wasn’t for one Gentile Christian from A.D. 37 to A.D. 2007.
- Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
- Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
- But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
- And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
- For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
- Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
- For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
- And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
You liars read “Christian,” “the Church,” and “the Body of Christ” everywhere God is talking to “Israel,” “Jews,” and “Judah.” You are just as bad as a bunch of Campbellites substituting “water” wherever the New Testament talks about baptism.
- ¶ What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
- God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
- Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
- Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
- For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
- For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
You lied again on page 43. After saying that every Christian keeps “the commandments of God” (pg. 95), you confessed you did NOT keep the commandments God gave in 2 Kings 23:2, 21 and Exodus 12.
- And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the people, both small and great: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of the LORD.
- And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.
- And the king commanded all the people, saying, Keep the passover unto the LORD your God, as it is written in the book of this covenant.
- And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
- Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
- And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.
- And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
- In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
- Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
- Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.
You forgot that the same bunch who received the Sabbath commandment was also under commandment to:
- kill all the Amalekites,
- ¶ Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD.
- Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.
- Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
- kill all the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and the Jebusites,
- But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:
- But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee:
- That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin against the LORD your God.
- have their men meet in Jerusalem THREE TIMES A YEAR,
- Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:
- Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.
- kill any virgin who violated her virginity before her marriage,
- But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel:
- Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.
- get circumcised or get killed,
- He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
- And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.
- kill all white witches and homosexuals,
- Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
- Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
- For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
- never get tattooed, and
- Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
- kill every Israelite who starts worshipping idols.
- ¶ If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
- And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
- Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
- Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
- And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.
You see, you cockeyed nuts pretended that every “jot” and “tittle” of the Law meant only the “Ten Commandments.”
- For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
- Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Gross error on your part. “The Law” (and that is the word you use on pp. 42, 43, 44, 45, 47, 53, 58) is “the Torah”—the first five books of Moses (the Pentateuch). You limited five books of the Law to nine commandments that apply to Jews and Gentiles and one commandment that was a CEREMONIAL SIGN GIVEN TO ONE NATION.
Are you deaf, dumb, and blind; or are you ALL THREE?!!
Gross error: you couldn’t get further “off base” unless you left the ballpark.
Nine of the commandments are MORAL commandments. One commandment is a CEREMONIAL observance.
The Christ killers broke their necks and damned their souls on the importance they afforded that one commandment.
- ¶ And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.
- And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.
- And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.
- And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
- And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
- And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
- Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
- And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
- ¶ They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.
- And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
- Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.
- Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
- ¶ And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.
- And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?
- And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;
- How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?
- And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
- And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.
- And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
- But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.
- Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
- And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
- And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.
- ¶ And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
- And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
- And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
- And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
- And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
- The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
- And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
- And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
