Who is God’s Servant

Who is God’s Servant
(Part One)
— by Dr. Peter S. Ruckman
March 2008, Bible Believers’ Bulletin

Many things are taking place in the world today, which were clearly predicted more than 300 years before Christ was born; but of course, since none of the members of the United Nations, nor any of the Senators or Congressmen, read their Bibles anymore, they wouldn’t know what on earth is going on. What has taken place in history is a strange thing, and something with which you wouldn’t be acquainted unless you were a “soul winner.” You would have to work as a “soul winner” to run into what I’m about to talk. A “soul winner,” who is an evangelist to the Jews, would probably know more about it than anybody, although I’ve never heard the people who write about their evangelistic work with the Jews, ever discuss the matter about which I’m about to talk.

What I am about to discuss has to do with the present state of Israel. If it were understood, there wouldn’t be any more anti-Semitic literature. By the same token, there would be a lot of better personal work done with the Jews where evangelists are trying to reach them. But since none of the politicians (see above) pay any attention to the Scriptures where they can understand them or like them, they miss what’s going on.

Now, here is what has happened in history. One nation has been called out by God to be a chosen nation, “a peculiar people.”

  1. For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
Deuteronomy 14, KJB
Its King was to be God. It was a Church-State theocracy, exactly the kind that is counterfeited by Catholics and Moslems. Both of those apostate counterfeits of the Old Testament, tried to reproduce the theocracy of the nation of Israel. The Mohammedans called theirs “the Islamic Nation”; the Catholics have the Vatican State. Both are religions that are joined to political States: a Church-State setup. In plainer words, they both imitate a theocracy.

The way the Roman Catholics handle the matter is very easy. They simply call their fleshy, sinful leader—a normal sinner like any other sinner—by the name of God the Father.

  1. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
  2. There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
  3. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
  4. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
  5. Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
  6. Their feet are swift to shed blood:
  7. Destruction and misery are in their ways:
  8. And the way of peace have they not known:
  9. There is no fear of God before their eyes.
  10. ¶ Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
  11. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
  12. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
  13. Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
  14. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3, KJB

The Pope is the head of the Vatican State and the Roman Catholic Church —a manmade theocracy. He is addressed as “Holy Father,” a title given to God.

  1. ¶ And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
John 17, KJB

The Mohammedans do it a different way. They follow a man who invented a god who approved of everything he was doing, via a 600-winged angel named Gabriel. After Mohammed professed to be a monotheist and said that God could have no “associates” (nobody closely associated with him), he decided to recite a book where HE HIMSELF was God’s associate.

You will find dozens of places in the Koran (not just once or twice) the expression “Allah and His Messenger.” What does he mean “Allah AND . . .”? The one who follows the “and” is Allah’s “associate” every time the expression occurs. The one you are to associate with Allah is always the same sinner: it is the speaker — Mohammed himself. After professing to be a monotheist instead of a polytheist, Mohammed said that if you obeyed him, you were obeying God!

He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah; but those who turn away — We have not sent you over them as a guardian. (Sahih International 4:80)

Both of these utterly false systems are international Church-States with fake “heads” that counterfeit the Jewish theocracy of the nation of Israel. The fake theocracy of Islam has Mohammed in the place of Allah, and the fake theocracy of Catholicism has the Pope in the place of God.

In the Bible, the head of Israel was one God who was King over that nation. That is clear if you read your Bible, but who reads the passages that deal with such material? That is the cause of the mess the UN is in today, and it will be the cause of its death in the next few years.

  1. ¶ Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
Deuteronomy 6, KJB
  1. Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Isaiah 44, KJB

Now look at what lies behind all of this and remember that it was written more than 1,000 years before Christ was born:

  1. ¶ Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah,
  2. And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
  3. But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD.
  4. And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.
1 Samuel 8, KJB

That is exactly what the Jews did when the Messiah showed up as “King of the Jews.” “The King of the Jews,” who was to reign on a throne over a nation, said that when He returns: “But those mine enemies, which would NOT THAT I SHOULD REIGN OVER THEM, bring hither, and slay them before me.

  1. But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
Luke 19, KJB

When the Lord comes back, He comes back as “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS” and “king over all the earth”, but specifically as “King of the Jews.” That is the title the wise men gave Him when He was an infant in a poor family in Bethlehem. That is the inscription Pilate hung above His head when He died on the cross.

  1. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Revelation 19, KJB
  1. And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
Zechariah 14, KJB
  1. ¶ Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
  2. Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
Matthew 2, KJB
  1. And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
Matthew 27, KJB

But when He comes back, He returns “in his glory.

  1. ¶ When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
Matthew 25, KJB

Then do you know what He says about Himself?

  1. And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Matthew 25, KJB

The reference is to a bunch of people who wouldn’t let Him reign over them. And what does He say to them?

  1. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Matthew 25, KJB

That is the only God-controlled theocracy that was ever set up on this earth according to the Holy Bible, so the UN has thrown out the Holy Bible!

Now how does this apply to the present situation (2008)? It means that when that genuine theocracy was destroyed under Nebuchadnezzar (606–586 B.C.), with the forerunners being Shalmanezer and Sennacherib, the Jews never again had a king on a throne to represent their true King who was to come (the “Son of David”) and was going to get David’s throne. God told one king back before the time of Christ that the kingly line given to the theocracy of Israel was all over and that nobody who came from the Jewish kings would ever sit on the throne of David—and they didn’t. That curse was put on Jeconiah.

  1. As I live, saith the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence;
  2. And I will give thee into the hand of them that seek thy life, and into the hand of them whose face thou fearest, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.
  3. And I will cast thee out, and thy mother that bare thee, into another country, where ye were not born; and there shall ye die.
  4. But to the land whereunto they desire to return, thither shall they not return.
  5. Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?
  6. O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.
  7. Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.
Jeremiah 22, KJB

That means that if Jesus Christ were to come and sit on the throne of David, He couldn’t be the “seed” of the kingly line that began with Solomon because God cut off that line in Jeremiah 22.

Footnote: There is not one religious leader in the UN who knows anything about what I am saying. None of them have ever checked it, even though it is going to affect all 191 nations in the UN, because the one theocracy God set up was neither Catholic nor Mohammedan.

The case of Mohammed is the strangest of all. Mohammedans say that the founder of Christianity was Jesus Christ, but when they come to their own religion, they don’t dare say the founderof their religion was Mohammed. That is why they don’t call themselves Mohammedans, but they will call you “Christians.”

Why, you bunch of bloody hypocrites, what’s the double standard for? If Mohammed founded “Islam,” why would anyone call you a “Moslem”? You say, “It has to do with ‘obedience’ or ‘subjection.’”

That’s nonsense. Mohammed said in the Koran that if you obeyed him and were in submission to him, that you were obeying God and were in submission to God (Surah 4:80 in every edition of the Koran that has ever been printed in any language).

The one who founded Mohammedanism was Mohammed, but the Mohammedans crossed out his name so you wouldn’t think that he founded it. But when “Moslems” talk about “Christianity,” they say, “Oh, that was founded by Jesus Christ, so you’re a ‘Christian.’”

Well let me tell you something, honey: that phony “Islam” you brag about isn’t “Islam” at all, and you aren’t “Moslems.” Your religion was founded by Mohammed, and you are Mohammedans. You just can’t bear the name of your founder; you must be secretly ashamed of him.

Anyway, the Jews lost their theocracy, and they didn’t get it back when Jesus showed up— even though He was the King come to set up the theocracy. They ended up crucifying Him.

  1. And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!
  2. But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.
John 19, KJB

Do you know what happened after that? God dispersed Israel to the four corners of the earth where they couldn’t set up any theocracy. They haven’t had a king since King Jesus rose from the dead. This leads all the Postmillennialists and Amillennialists to believe that the Jewish theocracy is completely over and done with. But Christ’s kingship was not to be over the Church at all. According to Gabriel, it was to be “over the house of Jacob.

  1. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
  2. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
  3. And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Luke 1, KJB

Being unable now to fulfill their own Law (the Torah), the Jews invented some uninspired “scripture” to take the place of the Tanach (the Old Testament; like the Talmuds [Babylonian and Palestinian], the Zohar, and a number of other books [see Israel, A Deadly Piece of Dirt ].) All were written to try to alibi their position so they could still claim to be a “chosen people,” even though they had no country, no king, and, what is worse, no sacrifices.

When the theocracy was set up, it was set up under the Mosaic Law with a priest class (the Levites), animal sacrifices, and a Temple in one place and one place only.

  1. ¶ But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:
  2. And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:
  3. And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.
  1. Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the LORD shall choose:
  2. And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh.
Deuteronomy 12, KJB

Once they rejected the Messiah, God put them in an impossible position where they could no longer practice their religion, so they invented another religion. I guess you’d call it “Judaism”: Orthodox, Conservative, and Reformed. But Judaism has nothing to do with the Biblical Theocracy God set up in the Scriptures.

The Biblical Theocracy had a king, and the king had to be a Jew.

  1. ¶ When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me;
  2. Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother.
Deuteronomy 17, KJB

The Temple was the place of worship, and it will be again when the King comes back. (Ezek. 40–46)

  1. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
  2. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
  3. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Isaiah 2, KJB
  1. And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
  2. All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.
  3. And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
  4. And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
  5. And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
  6. And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
  7. And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
  8. 16 ¶ And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
  9. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
  10. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
  11. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
  12. In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD’S house shall be like the bowls before the altar.
  13. Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
Zechariah 14, KJB

Until then it is impossible for any Jew to obey his own Bible that he wrote.

  1. ¶ What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
  2. Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.
Romans 3, KJB

They can’t do it, because when they rejected their Messiah, God put them in a position where they couldn’t do it.

That is what lies behind the present mess in Palestine today, because the Mohammedans and the Catholics have said that God is never going to set up a Jewish theocracy. The Bible says He is.

Next month we will see how the Jews themselves get around all of this and reject what their own Scriptures say just as neatly as any Mohammedan, Catholic, or UN “global citizen.”
